Delete Your
Athance Account

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, what gets removed, and how to do it.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Before proceeding, consider downloading your performance data and session history from the app. Once deleted, your scores, rankings, training history, and profile cannot be recovered — not even by the Athance team.

For users who have uninstalled the app

Compose an email
Send your request to contact@kiventra.com from the email address registered with your Athance account.

Use the subject line
Account Deletion Request — Athance
This routes your request directly to the data team.

Include in your email
Your full name, registered email address, and your NRAI or KSRA membership ID (if applicable) to help us locate your account.

Identity verification
We will reply within 3 working days with a one-time verification link sent to your registered email to confirm the request is genuine.

Confirm via the link
Click the verification link in our reply. Your account deletion is scheduled immediately upon confirmation.

Receive deletion confirmation
We send a final confirmation email once your account and data have been permanently deleted — within 30 days of verification.

IMPORTANT Cancel your subscription first

If you have an active Athance Pro or Association subscription

Deleting your Athance account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately through Google Play to stop future billing. Deleting the account without cancelling first means your card may continue to be charged.

On Android: Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Athance → Cancel subscription
No refunds after deletion: Athance subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started. Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid charges.

02 Deletion timeline

Immediately
Account access revoked. You are signed out of all devices. Your profile no longer appears in searches or leaderboards.
Within 24 hours
Personal data removed from active systems. Session data, profile details, and FemmeSync data are purged from live databases.
Within 7 days
Backup systems cleared. Your data is removed from all database backups and cloud storage (Supabase, Cloudflare R2).
Within 30 days
Full deletion confirmed. All personally identifiable data permanently erased. Deletion confirmation email sent to your registered address.
Up to 7 years
Financial records only. Transaction and billing records retained solely for legal compliance. These cannot identify you as an Athance user.

03 Frequently asked questions

No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered by you or by the Athance team. If you think you may want to return, consider using the Deactivate Account option in Settings instead, which pauses your account without deleting data.
Your scores and name are removed from all Athance leaderboards immediately upon deletion. If you submitted competition scores to an external association (KSRA, MRC, NRAI), those records are held by the association and are outside Athance's control — contact the association directly for removal from their records.
Deleting your Athance account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription independently through Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Athance → Cancel. If you delete without cancelling, Google may continue billing you for the next cycle. Athance does not issue refunds for unused subscription periods.
Yes. All FemmeSync cycle data, journal entries, and phase logs are treated as sensitive health information and are permanently deleted within 24 hours of account deletion confirmation. This data is never retained in anonymised or aggregated form.
You can selectively delete specific data — individual sessions, uploaded videos, or FemmeSync data — from within the app under Settings → Privacy & Data without deleting your full account. For a complete data erasure request without account deletion, email contact@kiventra.com with the subject line Data Erasure Request — Athance.
Yes. Use the email method above — send a deletion request to contact@kiventra.com from your registered email address. You do not need to reinstall the app. We process all email requests within 3 working days.
Even if your account was created by an association administrator, you retain full rights over your personal data. Follow either deletion method above. If you face any difficulty, email contact@kiventra.com and we will process your request directly.
We acknowledge email requests within 3 working days and send a verification link. Once you confirm via that link, full data deletion completes within 30 days. You receive a final confirmation email when done.

04 Request deletion by email

Your Legal Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to erasure of your personal data. Athance is committed to honouring all data deletion requests within 30 days as required by law.

If you believe your deletion request has not been processed correctly, you may raise a grievance with us at contact@kiventra.com. We respond to all grievances within 30 days. You also retain the right to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if your request is not resolved.
